Based on user feedback, FN Herstal has designed a new specially designed striker pistol for Security Forces: the full-size FN 509 pistol (9x19mm). The FN 509 offers a new level of durability, reliability and ergonomic design.

The slide and grip feature highly effective non-slip surfaces; magazine catch, slide release and safety catch are fully ambidextrous, and interchangeable backstraps adapt to all hand sizes.

This autoloading pistol with a preloaded striker mechanism has been tested successfully with a large number of 9x19mm ammunition types including FN EP and EPT cartridges.

The FN 509 is comfortable to shoot, reliable, and accurate. It has a fixed 3-dot luminescent sights, providing fast target acquisition even in low light conditions. The FN 509 also features a tactile and visible loaded chamber indicator and a 17-round capacity magazine allowing for visual instant ammo check.

Training system for marksmanship skills: Aiming – Holding – Breathing – Triggering. Operates on any rifles with dry firing, blank firing or live firing.

The FN Expert system allows basic marksmanship instruction and combat shooting training. It can be deployed in improvised locations (e.g. police stations, gymnasium, ship, firing range) and used with simulated weapons (Airsoft) or live weapons, dry firing, blank firing, or live firing. Simple to set up and to use, the FN Expert is an effective and cost saving training solution for shooters and instructors.

Different training modes are possible:

• Static (indoors or outdoors): a single target at known distance
• Dynamic: one or more shooters moving and engaging multiple targets at unknown distances
   
  The FN Expert is compatible with any rifle of carbine, and can be mounted on either the MIL‑STD-1913 Picatinny type rail or Barrel.

The FN MINIMI features an ergonomic buttstock adjustable in length (5 positions) to allow compensation for body armor and load bearing equipment.

The buttstock is adjustable for cheek rest height (6 positions) as well. The user can have his eye correctly aligned with the iron sights, or optical sights, while keeping his cheek properly positioned on the buttstock. It also integrates a folding shoulder rest and a hydraulic buffer that stabilizes the rate of fire and reduces felt recoil.

The handguard/bipod assembly provides a comfortable handguard and three forward MIL‑STD-1913 Picatinny accessory rails. The adjustable-height bipod, when folded back, integrates into the shape of the handguard even with an accessory on the lower rail.

The FN MINIMI also feature an ergonomically-shaped cocking handle that gives the user a better grip with the strong or weak hand; a feed tray with belt retaining pawls that hold the belt correctly in position during the loading procedure, which is most useful when the user is in the standing position. An optional heatshield that greatly reduces the risk of inadvertently touching the barrel is also available.

FN Herstal’s product range also include an FN MINIMI 7.62 Mk3 (7.62x51mm cal). All FN MINIMIs can take the FN SmartCore shot counter for improved small arms Management.

The semi-auto or semi-auto/full auto 7.62x51mm (.308) FN SCAR-H TPR precision rifle with its heavy floating barrel and match grade trigger provides rapid shots on target even at long range. The long one-piece integrated top rail allows day and night optics to be fitted in line. A choice of buttstock options allow the rifle to be adapted to the user’s needs: a foldable buttstock (FN SCAR-H PR model) or fixed sniper-type buttstock (FN SCAR-H TPR model).

Just like the FN SCAR-SC, the FN SCAR-H TPR precision rifle is derived from the FN SCAR assault rifle. Commonality of training and components throughout the FN SCAR family significantly simplifies, and reduces costs for, operator training and maintenance.

A modular ultra compact rifle caliber carbine for discrete carry and deployment in confined spaces.

The 5.56x45mm (.223) FN SCAR-SC subcompact carbine is the newest addition to the well-known FN SCAR family of rifles designed for US Special Forces.

Specifically adapted for mobility and flexibility, the FN SCAR-SC has semi-auto only or selective fire capabilities, non-reciprocating charging handle and a wide range of add-ons. This includes a red dot sight, tactical light, a variety of foregrips and a sound suppressor. All of these add-ons have been tested and certified by FN Herstal as providing reliable, durable performance in even the toughest circumstances.

The FN SCAR-SC comes with a telescopic buttstock as standard. Optional buttstocks include fixed, foldable, adjustable (length and height) with either concave or convex butt plate and a foldable offset buttstock for aiming and shooting with anti-riot or bulletproof helmet visor.

Existing users of FN SCAR will already be familiar with how to operate this rifle, minimizing training time.

The FN SCAR-SC can take the FN SmartCore shot counter for improved small arms management.
