Maximum safety when handling unknown substances
When dealing with unknown substances, emergency personnel from the fire department, police, customs or military must be extremely careful. It is good to keep the greatest possible distance during identification. Until now, this was not possible because Raman or FTIR spectrometers, which are classically used for detection, require direct contact with the sample.
The new Pendar X10 is a ground-breaking Raman spectrometer with a completely new measurement technique (SERDS). Together with new optical developments (stand-off measurement) and advanced evaluation algorithms (iterative analysis), an innovative analyzer for the identification of unknown substances has been created.
