Busch PROtective Germany, founded in 1981, is a German manufacturer of head protection systems for police and special police units. Busch PROtective is best known for its innovative approach to the development and production of the highest quality helmet systems. Among other things, Busch PROtective is the first manufacturer in the world to establish a non-metallic, ballistic helmet with "VPAM 3" certification on the market. The AMP-1 TP from Busch PROtective is also the only helmet system in the world that is certified according to the new "FBI-DEA Testing" protocol.
Busch PROtective's customer portfolio includes special police units in Germany, Europe, Asia, North and South America and Australia. One of the company's most recent successes is the exclusive supply contract for ballistic helmet systems to the U.S. Department of Justice, which includes the FBI, DEA and U.S. Marshalls. In Germany, ballistic helmets from Busch PROtective can be found in official cars of the Berlin Police or Lower Saxony Police, as well as in many SEKs and MEKs throughout Germany.
