About us

High-end laser cutting systems - Optimum productivity and excellent results.

eurolaser is one of the world's leading manufacturers of laser systems for cutting and engraving. Since its foundation in 1994, eurolaser has specialised in processing systems for non-metallic materials. These include plastics such as polyester or acrylic, wood and MDF, textiles and composites as well as many other materials. Today, the universal cutting systems are used for cutting personal protective equipment (PPE) for the military, security services, police, fire department and workwear, among other things.

All models are designed according to the modular principle in order to always provide the right solution, even for special applications. With processing areas of up to 3,210 mm x 3,200 mm, large-format cuts can also be realised with ease.

We offer various additional modules for all systems, which are customised to your application and can be seamlessly integrated into your process environment. They are geared to the needs of the market and therefore offer a useful addition to the extensive basic equipment.

Numerous laser advantages when cutting technical protective textiles.

When cutting technical protective textiles, quality and precision are essential. Modern high-tech textiles are subjected to heavy use every day, regardless of whether they have to protect the person wearing them from flames or from knives and firearms. For this reason, the switch to laser cutting is highly recommended. The laser systems from eurolaser, specially designed for the textile industry, are ideally suited here.

An overview of the advantages of using eurolaser systems for cutting technical textiles:

  • Directly sealed cut edges (no fraying, tear-resistant) - processors save themselves the additional work step that would otherwise be required for resewing.
  • Cutting of extremely stable materials, such as Aramid, without tool wear. The cut quality remains consistently high and there are no costs due to maintenance, tool changes or downtime of the cutting system.
  • Nesting ensures material savings, especially with expensive materials.
  • Permanent laser engraving for fine product markings (e.g. serial numbers, documentation) in a single operation with cutting.
  • Automated processing directly from the roll saves the user time and money.
  • Even fine contours are cut without weak points, so that the cut edges remain tear-resistant and resilient after processing.
  • No material fixing required - the laser cuts completely contact-free, so there is no material distortion.

Laser - powerful processing without material contact.

Working without contact means more than you might imagine at first. No force applied to the material, no material distortion, no clamping of the material, better material utilisation, less waste, no resharpening of the tool are just some of these advantages. The thermal cutting process of the laser is very advantageous for many applications. Fringe-free, slightly fused cut edges in synthetic textiles, sealed multi-layer films or crystal-clear, smooth cut edges in acrylic are just a few examples. Laser processing is carried out with the utmost precision, even very intricate details are cut exactly. As the laser beam itself is wafer-thin (approx. 0.2-0.3 mm), inner contours are also cut without a radius, regardless of the tool diameter. In contrast to other processing methods, the laser does not become blunt over time. The quality of the cuts remains consistently high for years, from the first to the last workpiece.

eurolaser offers comprehensive support from a single source, from consultation and sampling of the material to be used to user training and worldwide service.
