About us

Hexonia GmbH specializes in the manufacture of combat clothing and ballistic protective equipment for soldiers and security forces. The company develops and produces integrated clothing systems, from underwear to combat clothing, as well as modular head protection systems.

Founded in 2005, Hexonia develops and produces the majority of its clothing at its headquarters in Nettetal, North Rhine-Westphalia. For more than 10 years Hexonia has developed, supplied and continuously improved the clothing, protection and load bearing system of the German IdZ-ES (Infantryman of the future – Enhanced system) to the German Armed Forces.

This year, Hexonia was awarded the contract for the DOKS project. As part of this project, Hexonia will supply a comprehensive combat clothing system for the Netherlands Armed Forces.

Today, the company employs around 270 people. Hexonia has been part of the Norwegian NFM Group since 2022.
