The Troposcatter FoS delivers robust solutions for military and specialist forces worldwide, ensuring reliable connectivity in the most challenging environments, including GPS/GNSS-denied regions.

The family includes the powerful Mobile Transportable Transmission Systems (MTTS), capable of delivering data speeds of up to 210 Mbps at ranges up to 250 km. With its modular design and 500W high-power output, the MTTS is ideal for strategic, long-range operations where flexibility, reliability, and rapid deployment are critical. The MTTS system also features the COMTECH CS67Plus modem, the first software-defined adaptive troposcatter modem, which ensures maximum link availability and throughput with its advanced Adaptive Coding Modulation (ACM).

For tactical operations requiring a lightweight, portable solution, the Compact Over-The-Horizon Mobile Expeditionary Terminal (COMET) is an essential asset. Designed for rapid deployment and ease of use, the COMET supports data speeds in excess of 100 Mbps and offers a planning range of up to 70 km. Its compact form factor, packed into two commercial airline-checkable cases, enables deployment within 15 minutes, ensuring reliable communication links in fast-moving operational scenarios.

Building on the successes of the MTTS and COMET, Spectra Group has introduced the cutting-edge Troposcatter On The Move (TOTM) system. TOTM combines the portability of the COMET with advanced Electronically Steered Antenna (ESA) technology to deliver unparalleled mobile communication capabilities. TOTM provides secure, low-latency (7-20 ms) data links at speeds of up to 7 Mbps and a range of 112 km, even when deployed in dynamic environments like land vehicles or maritime vessels. With its ultra-fast (sub-500 ns) beamforming ESA, TOTM ensures resilience against jamming and wireless attacks, making it highly suitable for peer-on-peer conflicts and multi-domain operations.
