About us

Wyssen Defence products impress with their quality and innovation and have quickly established themselves among connoisseurs. In the meantime, police authorities and the Swiss army have also been supplied.

The man behind the innovative products, Jürg Wyssen, has been passionately carrying out development and production orders for other renowned Swiss weapons manufacturers since the 1990s. This expertise, acquired over more than 30 years, now flows into the company's own innovations.

The parts are mainly manufactured by the family-owned company Wyssen Seilbahnen AG, which has been synonymous with high-quality products for cableway and avalanche blasting technology since 1926. The company employs 40 people and has its own development department and mechanical production facility with state-of-the-art CNC machines, which enables the efficient development and production of special parts to customer specifications, even in small quantities.

Wyssen Defence AG's very first product, the K31 Sniper conversion kit, was a big success.

Various innovations followed, including the

  • WD15 (self-loading rifle type AR15)
  • WD9 (self-loading carbine 9x19mm)
  • Particularly light and small suppressors
  • Special parts according to customer requirements
  • Miscellaneous accessories
