Secure the Mission: PKI & MFA for Critical Operations

Today, digital systems are a central component of every operational organization—from control rooms and vehicles to networked devices in the field. Two cornerstones are needed to keep these systems secure: reliable digital “ID cards” (PKI) and strong authentication procedures (MFA). Together, they ensure that only authorized persons and systems have access and that confidential information remains protected.

Session description

This presentation will show how PKI and MFA work in practice, why they are indispensable for modern operational environments, and how they help to reliably secure data, processes, and technology. Realistic examples will be used to explain how digital identities are issued, managed, and renewed for people and devices – and how organizations can use them to increase both security and operational readiness.
