BlastSax® is a mobile, modular protection system designed for the temporary shielding and controlled redirection of blast pressure waves caused by explosions or accidental detonations. The system is intended for situations where permanent protective structures are unavailable, impractical or cannot be deployed at short notice.

The individual BlastSax® elements are activated with water on site and, once positioned, form a temporary protective barrier. The mass of the water combined with the flexible configuration of the elements helps reduce and redirect blast effects, thereby limiting potential impact on people, buildings, technical equipment and surrounding infrastructure.
