a.) Troop or Service ID
A service card issued by a security authority in conjunction with an official photo ID (identity card).
Addition: For personnel from the customs authority, correctional services, and municipal public order offices: The service ID must either include an explicit note indicating that the individual is authorized to carry weapons while on duty or is empowered to perform police-like duties (e.g. use of direct force, seizure of items, entry and search of residences). If this information is not evident from the service ID, an additional official letter from the respective authority confirming these powers must be presented.
b.) Written confirmation from an authority regarding the cooperation, establishing the connection to the security and defence industry.
c.) Own Proof of Industry Affiliation
Individuals who are not part of a government security agency but can verify their professional connection to the industry may submit self-declared proof of their trade visitor status. The following documents will be required for approval:
- A letter issued with an official company letterhead (alternatively, with the company stamp). The letter must include the full name of the visitor and their role within the company. Please also add reference to the company’s website and, if available, provide the NCAGE code.
- In addition to this letter, a copy of the company’s business license or commercial register excerpt must be submitted.
- Only if the business license or commercial register excerpt does not clearly indicate a connection to the industry, must a third document be provided. This document must clearly demonstrate a link to the security or defense industry (e.g., a supplier invoice for components used in the production of products relevant to the tradefair; a written confirmation from an industry-relevant partner regarding the collaboration).
