Dillon Europe, based in Koblenz, is the European point of contact for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and NATO special operations forces for the procurement, training, development, and maintenance of the entire product portfolio of its parent company, Dillon Aero. In addition, Dillon Europe provides further weapon-specific services and personnel support for NATO member states.

With the MG6 introduced in 2019 (caliber 7.62 mm x 51 NATO, rate of fire 3,000 rounds per minute, or 50 freedoms per second), German special forces were equipped with a primary weapon system that can be deployed in air, land, and maritime operations.
