Esbit Compagnie GmbH, founded in 1949 in Hamburg, is a German family business now in its third generation. With exports to around 25 countries, the company also has an international focus and is present in markets across Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa.

Esbit products are used worldwide – in 12-/24-hour food rations of numerous armed forces and aid organizations as well as in the civilian outdoor sector. These include, among others, foldable and pliable stoves as well as solid fuel tablets (Made in Germany) for heating meals. The company is headquartered in Hamburg.
