Modern tactical environments expose the limits of single-spectrum imaging. This paper explores compact LWIR, SWIR and visible/NIR sensor fusion combined with Edge AI. Pixel-level registration, adaptive fusion and onboard detection/classification transform multispectral imagery into real-time situational intelligence for UAVs, UGVs, dismounted units and surveillance systems.
