With nearly 500 employees worldwide Polytec develops, produces and distributes optical measurement technology solutions for research and industry. Our headquarters are located in Waldbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. In addition, we maintain subsidiaries in the USA, England, France, Japan, Singapore and China.

Polytec has started its distribution business on electro-optical and IR test systems more than 50 years ago:

Beside the presentatio of laser & laser range finder testing, optical alignment and rifle scope testing the company provides blackbodies, collimators, radiometers, spectro-radiometers, electro-optical test and remote-sensing equipment by CI Systems. Advanced imaging cameras and solutions in the UV, VIS and IR range for industrial, surveillance and R&D applications as well as digital image correlation for 3D deformation measurement and are other focuses at the Enforce TAC trade show.

Polytec also develops and manufactures high-quality measurement systems for the analysis of vibration, length, speed and surface topography. The company is the market-leader for non-contact, laser-based vibration and velocity measurement instrumentation. Another focus is the manufacturing of optical spectrometer systems and components for various applications in process analytics.

Polytec’s distribution business has been extended to a large variety: UV and IR sources and measurement systems, special cameras and 3D measurement solutions, fiberoptic measurement technology for sensing and telecom applications, layer thickness measurement solutions as well as photovoltaic and semiconductor metrology.
